Poker stories source

Stories for poker are selected based on your current view and the selection. So, to poker all "to do" stories from backlog, switch to Backlog view and click Poker button.

If you need to estimate sprint's stories only, switch to Sprint view and click poker button.

In advance, if you select some stories, only these stories are estimated.

Join online Planning Poker® session

Brand new feature is online Planning Poker®. Any team member can join to current online poker session.

After you joined the session, you are regular session member. 

Moderator

One of you must become moderator.

Moderator is responsible:

  • for story selection,
  • for starting and stopping the poker round
  • for closing the round - setting the result value to story

Start poker round

Set the minutes and seconds and click Start button.  Poker cards should appear.

Click on the card and your backlog will be split based on the selected size - smaller, equal and larger stories.

Click on ? mark in the last card and enter your own value that is not Fibonacci number.

Sounds

Team members are notified by a sound after the round has been started and 5 seconds before the end of the round.

Poker results

If you are sure about your estimation, click green Send vote button. If you want to change your estimation you sent, click cards button .

Distribution chart displays overview of the size estimation. You can easy identify the size upon which agreed most of your team members.

Closing the round

If team members agreed on the resulting value, moderator will click Close round. Estimation cards is going to be displayed again, moderator will select the value and click green Complete round button. Selected value is set to story.

Editable stories

Stories in carousel can be edited directly during the poker session.

Open Detail

Detail of selected story can be displayed by click on button .
