How to upgrade

On-Site edition

Database upgrade

  1. Backup your database before upgrade!
  2. Download new Database Manager from here.
  3. Click Upgrade radio button
  4. Log in to your SQL Server
  5. Choose your database from Databases combo
  6. Click Update button

In case of error, copy error text from error window and send it to our support, please.

ScrumDesk client upgrade

Run ScrumDesk as usual. You should see notification about available update. Click Ok to install it.

Then login to your database. THE DATABASE MUST BE UPGRADED BEFORE LOGIN!

On-Demand edition

Notification about available update is displayed after you started ScrumDesk. Click Ok button to install the upgrade.

If you click Skip, you will not be able to use your hosted database because it has been updated to newer version. In this case contact us, please.

Hub

If you are using Synchronization Hub, download it from here.

If you want to change time unit:

  1. Close any running ScrumDesk
  2. Close Synchronization Hub
  3. Run ScrumDesk on Scrum Master's computer
  4. Login to project
  5. Change time unit in Project/Settings/Time Unit
  6. Enter how many hours are 1 day or how many days are equivalent to 1 hour
  7. Click Recalculate project  button and wait to complete
  8. Re-run Synchronization Hub on server

These steps are required to complete to synchronize assets between Microsoft Team Foundation Server and ScrumDesk!
