Planning
With ScrumDesk you can develop
product in parallel. Stories for more releases can be developed
in one sprint. This approach is not compliant with scrum
method, but we think that sometimes this practice is
helpful.
For planning process ScrumDesk
uses a unique planning matrix solution.
You can imagine your sprints and releases as the matrix
where:
- sprint are in rows,
- releases are in columns,
- stories are
in cells.

Planning view is divided in two parts both containing stories
list. You can choose sprint or release for
any part.
Story is assigned to the sprint or release simply
by using drag and drop between these lists.
Scrum Master or Product owner
can create new stories in place,
they can copy or delete selected
stories.
Click on pane toolbars to display filter dialog for
easier manipulation with stories.
Sprint
ScrumDesk calculates sprint occupation
and number of available storypoints
that can be developed in the sprint.
User can write notes during daily
meetings.
Files can be attached
to sprint. This way ScrumDesk provides an access to them
anywehre for every team member.
Release
Releases in ScrumDesk is described by name,
release date and description.
ScrumDesk calculates release overview
based on release stories details (number of stories,
total effort in storypoints, percent completed).
Files can be attached to release as additional
information. These files can be stored in project team
database and they are accessible anywhere.
