Project in ScrumDesk

Project is defined by scrum master:

  • Project name
  • Description of the project
  • picture used to indicate project
  • Possibility to mark project as private. In this case only team memebers are allowed to log into project.
  • Default sprint length defines iteration length in working days for every newly created sprints
  • Bug tracking system address for easy, integrated access (see more in Integration)
  • Address to project documentation server, for example Microsoft SharePoint or Wiki pages (see more in Integration)

But basic part of every project are team members.

Every team member has contact information that enables easy collaboration. Project members can be selected from company user list. This list can be populated by administrator manually or importing from company LDAP server.

Scrum Master can customize colors used to indicate state of stories, tasks and retrospective ideas.

Teams

ScrumDesk supports creating multiple project teams. Teams are managed by project management or scrum master. Team members can be assigned to team easy by entering name of  the team.

ScrumDesk integrates Team Manager - unique featrue able to design organization chart of your teams even they are distributed. Teams can be organized in multiple levels. Drag and drop team member to team and that it is!. Drag sub-team to other team! Doublclick to display details of clicked team or team member.

 

Teams can be viewed as list too. 

Customization

Scrum as method is adapted to current project environment.

Templates makes daily life easy as many details are predefined already. ScrumMaster is able to prepare templates that can be used to create new stories based on them.

ScrumDesk provides posibility to customize and configure colors used for status indication, time units, default stories priority, email server used for email notifications, etc.
